The opening of the exhibition hall of the House-Museum took place in the summer of 2016. The members of the working group formed in Gyumri facilitated the collection, processing and classification of the materials of the house-museum. The members are musicologist Hasmik Harutyunyan, museologists Paruyr Zakaryan, Stepan Ter-Margaryan, Susanna Mnatsakanyan and many others. In order to replenish the fund of the house-museum, the materials of the Jivani fund of the Yeghishe Charents Museum of Literature and Art have been digitized, separate manuscripts of which are displayed in the exhibition hall. In addition to the manuscripts, many books, articles, and materials about Jivani have been collected, as well as almost all editions of Jivani's songs and tales, from 1882 (the year the first book was published) to the present day. The walls of the exhibition hall of the house-museum decorate Jivani childhood, children. In the central part of the exhibition hall is the bust of Jivani, in the right and left parts of which are the famous violin and kaman of Jivani. The back part of the bust, as a symbol of the immortal song of Jivani ("I am one apricot tree") and the eternity of the Armenian people, is completely shrouded in the image of an apricot tree, on which the Jivani manuscript reflects the quatrains song of Ashug "Hovik".In the exhibition hall, a special place is occupied by photos of great Armenians and foreigners who appreciated Jivani or are closely connected with ashug by their life and work. The best performers and songwriters of ashug from different years are also included in the exhibition. The exhibition ends with the image of Jivani's tombstone in Khojivank and the images of the Ashug school immortalizing Jivani.
